Recorded on a zoom h4n in stereo. The lions were fairly far away. I've amped it a bit make them louder and removed some bass rumble. We actually had lions walk through and roar (!) in our camp one night! unfortunately i didn't have my recorder running then. It was deafeningly loud! next time!.

When i first tested out my zoom h5 i began talking into the mic and then all of a sudden i needed a sneeze. I was about to stop the recording but then thought it would be good to record the sneeze to see how it handled my loudness. Well it coped very well and the recording came out perfect!i then played around with it in audacity and slowed it down -86% which makes me sound like a roaring lion. So i thought i'd upload this slowed down version too!.

S/o to craigsmith!. Leo, the lion. This lion roar gave me a hollywood / scarface feeling - and this lion roar actually happens to be straight from hollywood!. I searched and dug for some time - until i found this useful sound:. * "g12-47-lions roaring. Wav" by craigsmith (licensed under the creative commons 0 license!) [2020-07-06]. - links: https://freesound. Org/people/craigsmith/sounds/437980/https://creativecommons. Org/publicdomain/zero/1. 0/. I downloaded this, cut it down, made lots of improvements - and finally remastered this. I could've made lots of more changes, however, i wanted to leave the rest up to the listener's fantasy. Enjoy!/matrixxx.

This is a variation on a guttural growl i made to depict some giant bears in power armour. I recorded myself with a zoom h1 and then fiddled with pitch shifts etc to get to this big cat noise (well, that was what i was aiming for).

A roar for a kaiju style creature. Lions, tigers, bears and a hint of whale song. Most of the sounds (a couple of bass instruments, several animal roars) come from garageband, along with some recordings of a human made on a zoom h1. All mixed together in final cut pro x with some pitch and reverb effects thrown on top for good measure. For attribution, please credit www. Laughingwiththestorm. Net.

All my sounds were created for a motioncomic i created called: kay & gojiah. . . I did not create these from scratch, but instead, remixed stock sounds of different roars, growls, breathing, etc. And fiddled with their settings until i got a sound i felt satisfied with. I thought the best thing to do with them after the project was done is to share. So, no need to give me credit. If you really want to give me credit for remixing, go and check out my project and give it some love :). Https://youtu. Be/-6i5ojsiqhu.

Something i threw together for a personal project i was working on. I couldn't find any high quality samples of a dragon so i decided to make my own. This was created using ableton and contains the following sounds:a dog growlinga lion roara horse gruntingan elephant vocalisinga flamethrower sound. All sounds used were obtained from royalty free websites and manipulated using software so that the original samples are not identifiable. The combining, layering and processing of the sounds were all done by myself within my daw. I hope those of you who find this are able to make great use of it. Feel free to link me to projects you may use this in!.
