I needed the sound of some keys that were put on a table. So i did the recording myself with a simple headset-mic. It's a very simple recording, hope you can work with it. The putting down was done in 3 different manners from quick to slow and picking them up again.

A ring of keys picked up and dropped repeatedly from a height of 6" or so into a tub of coins. Assorted metal-against-metal sounds when picked up, short metallic crashes when dropped. Some minor removal of background noise. Recorded with minidisc and condenser mic, close, indoors.

A brief recording of someone entering a flat (turning keys, door opens, we hear a street outside, door gets closed and locked afterwards). This was recorded from about 5 meters away in a hallway.

Interior: door close, keys inserted, car starts, shift to drive, quick acceleration, fade to distant left. All audio independently recorded using a marantz pmd620 then produced in pro tools. Please rate this sound.

This sound of alarm clock was entirely made with audacity. First, i generated a sinusoïdal key at 575 hz with an amplitude of 0. 11 during 3 seconds. Then i deselect my track and i generated an other sinusoïdal key at 1500 hz with an amplitude of 0. 33 during 3 seconds too. Next i selected my 3 tracks and i clicked on track - mix and render to a new track. I added a tremolo effect with a reverse serrated and a degree of 0, a level of 100 and a frequence at 25,0 hz. The wave must looks like stuck triangles.
