I found this recording i made describing what an crocodile sounds like after visiting an alligator park in southern colorado. It struck me as particularly funny and i could imagine someone finding a random use for it. Enjoy, whoever you are.

I recorded the sound of my dog's collar using a zoom h4n recorder and a rode m3 microphone. This would be a good sound used in the background in an outdoor scene. I can imagine this recorded noise starting off soft and gradually getting louder to indicate a dog walking by before it softens up and gradually trails off as the dog gets further and further away.

I took another sample from a malfunctioning arcade cabinet, this time giving off a repetitive droning hum. Listening to it without context, i imagine being in a control center containing heavy industrial computing machines.

To make this series of sounds, i blended a bunch of samples together, some recorded on my go-to usb mic, some synthesized in ableton. I thought they fit together nicely vs being isolated pieces. I was not expecting the bomber to fly over and it was a tribute to one of the last surviving members (edward saylor) of the doolittle raid on tokyo on april 18th, 1942. He was in the parade too.
