Stereo recording of a group of street musicians playing circus style music in paradise circus, birmingham uk. Recorded on a zoom h2 digital recorder in wav format walking past the musicians. Trumpet does some phase effects as the reflected sound from a large building mixes with the direct sound. Recorder was in bag so sounds of movement, and plenty of street noise. Short extract so as not to deprive performers of any rights - this is a field recording of a street soundscape.

From 1:00-2:00in the sky a long way behind me and to the left, but somewhat far in the air, a group of birds are fighting above a large group of trees that are shaped like a ball of veins. Most of the birds are crows, or just black birds; each noise they make is a series of “caws” no different from each other in pitch, tone, or frequency. There's also the sound of 3 small birds directly to my right around 5 meters away from me, making loud but shrill chirping sounds. The birds are each the same size but and are hopping around the perimeter of a cactus right behind them. The wind blows onto the right side of my body and the front of my body. Waves from the ocean are crashing directly behind me, each in long sessions. The way they sound is consistent, like the sound of rain. Occasionally one of the waves will crash, increasing in volume but not in pitch or tone.

The very traditional jarabe tapatío, one of the most beloved pieces that you can ask to a mariachi group. The last segment is commonly use as fanfare (in mexico we call it "una diana"); you probably hear it in old mexicans movies. I recorded this on the street (so, you need to equalize it a little), in oakland, california, in august 20, 2011, with my zoom h2. Use in case of 5 de mayo celebration.

La guacamaya (the macaw) one of the most popular songs of the traditional son jarocho genre. The interpreters are soneros del tesechoacán, a group originally from playa vicente, veracruz. They play those small guitars -imagine a ukelele in hands of a mexican- they call jaranas and also a 4 string guitar they call requinto. Recorded in oakland california. January 2012. I used a h2 zoom.

I'm using a wired karaoke microphone and recorded it on audacity. Clapping and people cheering are coming from my hands and my voice, respectively. Each clap is recorded manually (some are near the mic and some are far away) and as well as the cheering voice. I recorded it at my living room. Recorded and uploaded on december 2017. People clapping at first then audience praise at the last.

I created a chip track to which i added a reverbation effect. I copied it and then rendered both onto a new track. Reusing the same sound , i lengthened the tempo and increased the pitch on the second one. I then reused it a few times to imitate the sound of the ball bouncing off the table, speeding up the tempo and adding a fade out effect. Created and formatted for the make noise morphagene, this reel is divided into three sections with like sounds clustered together for ease of navigation. The first group of splices are glitchy, percussive, experimental, modular snippets. The middle third consists of melodic and chordal washes. The final cluster is a series of field recordings taken from a recent trip to beirut, lebanon, with a cut up inspired splice at the very end. Collectively, i hope this sonic material will inspire the user to mangle, manipulate, and deconstruct to taste.

Layered out of an sks, ak47, uzi and a snare drum with a metallic texture. A short decayed 808 kick drum is occupying the sub frequencies. A bolt mechanic layer added before and after the shot transient. Two echo/reverbs were added for the stereo width. Shell eject layer added. All layers grouped together and lightly compressed and saturated. Made in ableton live. Enjoy.

I made the recording in the town of denholm in scotland. In the recording you can hear fireworks, firecrackers. You can also hear the sounds of conversations in the crowd, screams of children, the sounds of a burning fire. On november 5 this year people across the uk light bonfires, let off fireworks, and burn effigies of a man named guy fawkes. The reason we do this is because it’s the anniversary of the gunpowder plot (1605); a failed attempt to blow up the houses of parliament in london by a group of dissident catholics.

It is dusk on an autumn evening on the south side of the river thames, a few feet downstream from vauxhall bridge. Innumerable starlings have congregated in a murmuration underneath (in fact inside the fabric of) the bridge to noisily discuss the day before sleep. Overhead, cars and buses thump across the bridge panels, while small groups of city workers, nurses and spies head home or for drinks. All the while the river laps away as an unconscious heartbeat, and is churned up by the thrum of a passing riverboat.

I initially created this snare using lmms ( linux multimedia studio ) and a single instance of the zynaddsubfx plugin. There were many effects and experiments done before exporting as an audio stem. Next i opened this stem ( single snare hit ) in bitwig studio and made a few copies of it and timestretched and chopped and then joined together in a group track the parts i liked to make the whole sound. Final effects included saturation, equalization , sidechain-limiting and compression.

The sound has been made by researchers of the music technology group of universitat pompeu fabra (i. E. Where freesound happens!), and voctrolabs. The sound uses choir synthesis technology developed for the trompa eu project. This means that what you hear are not real singers but synthesized voices generated by a computer! the score adaptation for choir is based on a score published in the choral public domain library. Hope you enjoy it and. . . . Happy birthday dear freesound!.

This is a compilation of recordings from behind my daughter's house in dallas. Close to the rr track where they probably travel. But she seems to have a group of them near her who live there for at least part of the year. The 2 barks are from her late dog leo who she lost this year so i could not bear to take them out. Also i processed this audio with audacity and they started as mono. . . So i put them in stereo tracks. . . . Hope they are ok for some peoplealso you will notice that some parts are louder than others and i did not feel like normalizing volume. Aaaaooooooooo.

5. 1 surround field recording of the center courtyard of the barbican estate, an ensemble of brutalist concrete block highrises in central london/uk. It is a weekday morning, some people are walking and talking on the premises. A group of schoolchildren passes some distance away at the beginning, some light construction work is going on in the midrange, and in the far range the busy city noises of london can be heard. The recorder is in the center of the courtyard facing into the complex. Recorded with a zoom h2n and matrixed to 5. 1 surround.

Tail end of a paper-airplane competition as part of #azwud (arizona world usability day) in scottsdale, az. About 100 adults and 3 kids made paper airplanes then flew them in an informal indoor competition. Sounds of the crowd reacting to the different flights as planes flew off in all directions, hitting the ceiling, the floor, the audience. Announcer in the bkgd. Children approaching the 'launchpad' then the crowd reacting to their winning throw. After the kids' throw, the sound of another competitor's plane hitting the ceiling/floor (?) and then his comment "too much thrust. " a kid saying to an adult, possibly her mom (?), "please don't succeed" as the woman approached the launchpad to throw her plane.

Got a group of about 8 people to say "hey!" a few times. Layered all the takes, compressed, and added a touch of reverb. I've used this one a bunch in my own songs. Sometimes, to achieve a convincing gang vocal effect, when i don't have a gang, you can sing your line a few times, and then layer this "hey" under each syllable, and you can get a pseudo-gang vocal. Works in a pinch if your mix is dense enough. I'd love if you'd credit joshua scott or rjc studios if you use this sample, but don't sweat it if you don't. Good artists borrow, great artists steal.

It's an all synthetized sound, created on audacity. I wanted to recreat a basic emergency alarm, which can be use for cops, firemen or ambulance. I started by creat a track, then i add chirps. After, i duplicated the track and make a stereo of both. After, i copy and stick multiples times my sound. After, i chossed to raise the speed of the track, twice. I also modified a little bit the height. Then, i normalized the track. _______________________________________________________________________________je pense que c'est un son répété formant un groupe tonique, au timbre harmonique éclatant voir acide, dynamique et au grain lisse.

Standing on the east side of michigan avenue near ontario street, chicago, 7/16/16 at 10:07pm. Lots of passing traffic, squealing brakes, distant voices, distant sirens. A busker in the middle distance is playing his recognizable clarinet licks. Around 3:14 a group of motorcycle riders pass revving their engines. Edited to remove potentially copyright infringing music (captured playing out of passing cars and motorbikes). Recorded with two countryman emw lavaliers in a head-mounted binaural arrangement, into a tascam dr-40 recorder. Processed to remove excessive bass rumble and compensate for eq curve of lavaliers.

All sounds in the pack "kitchen sounds 2022" were recorded with the zoom h6 and the xyh-6 microphone module. The sound was recorded at 96khz with 24bits. A 4-minute. Wav recording of an apartment parking lot in a small neighborhood with a busy nearby roadway - from a different perspective. Cars can be heard driving by, along with a faint humming with from some machinery and a small amount of wind. There is also some faint talking, laughing and coughs from a group in one of the apartment buildings, which can add to the effect. There are two instances when cars drive into the parking lot (about at 3:20 and 3:40), and shortly afterward a person walks by the mic. Recorded with the microphone of a nikon coolpix camera.

A small group of people collected hay on a meadow by means of sweeping the hay into mounds and placing it on hay racks by means of pitchforks. A couple of guys set up hay racks by knocking a sharp, short pole obliquely into the ground to be used as support. Next, they used a crowbar to make holes in the ground for the large poles which were assembled in a row. Finally, a short oblique pole was knocked into the ground on the other side of the high poles and steel wire was attached t one of the oblique poles, then attached to the long poles by one loop on each pole until it was attached to the oblique pole at the other end. Birds were singing and sheep with bells were grazing nearby.

This sound is completely analog. I recorded the sound of a person who was walking on the street. I chose to leave the noise of the street so that we understand that the person walks outside. I used the effect "amplification" to reduce the noise of the street and increase the sound of step. I made a fade in opening and closing, so that we have the impression that the steps are moving towards us then moves away. At the same time, i played with the pitch of the sound to accentuate this effect. 2016-06-01clear creek metro parkrockbridge, ohio. In late spring 2016, seventeen-year cicadas emerged in a section of the united states that includes eastern ohio. The cicadas crawl out of the ground, shed their skins, and climb up into the trees. One cicada makes a loud and distinctive sound, but a whole group of them creates a dull roar. This recording was made on the cemetery ridge trail at clear creek metro park in rockbridge, ohio. I was standing some distance from the cicada sounds, trying to capture the pervasive roar from a distance. Sound recorded using the built-in mic on an iphone 5.

This is the second version without the mechanical bolt. Maybe can be used for bolt action rifles. Made this is ableton live, it is multilayered with the top end of a 9mm and the low/mid range of an ak47. Another carbine sound is faded in after the transients to give more sustain. Two reverbs fade in and out creating a smooth transition and blend. A little white noise is added for subtle sheen and air. All the layers were grouped together into a single band compressor and ran through serum fx distortion and then into a krush distortion plugin for added fatness. A blending reverb was used to glue the sounds into the same space and ran into a final transient designer which is adding a little more snap and punch and clipping the excess transients off. Enjoy.

Here are the audience bits from a jazz concert i recorded using an olympus field recorder. The auditorium was intimate and acoustically excellent. In the first section if applause you will here a mild rumble. There was a standing ovation, and that's what that rumble is. I also included some quiet bits of the band on stage getting ready for a song, and some subtle crowd walla as well. There is plenty to play with if you need to loop. You may here some bits of the mc or sax player in the background near the end, but nothing you can't work around if you need to. Check my other up-loads for an extended walla track from this same show. Hope this track works out for you!.
