A sound for a science fiction background or for a trance/electronic track. It is a slowed down, distorted recording of a high-speed machine with other rackets inside. Recorded on zoom h2 on highest settings for wav files. (chirping sound heard on freesound disappears on full downloaded version. ).

I designed this sound from scratch using a 20 millisecond pop of audio looped and processed heavily using ableton live's sampler instrument. The loop is 2 bars long, but it this sample file i trail off for quite a few seconds sustaining the note to show off the sustain processing on the synth.

Thunderstorm aftermath. Sounds of a thunderstorm about 10 minutes after it left the area. So low rumbles and rain dripping. The sound was recorded using a yamaha audiogram6 connected to a radioshack brand vocal microphone. Sampling was done at 44,100hz and the data was recorded using audacity. I recorded everything as a wav file and then uploaded it the same.

I have made every attempt to screen out other background noise (including painstakingly removing the song of most other birds) recorded in la drova (spain) and so this bird will have a spanish accent!.

While doing sit-ups in my bedroom - i've discovered that the friction of my back with the floor makes hilarious "fart-like" sounds. I grabbed my zoom h4n recorder - and recorded some. Good fart sounds are sometimes not so easy to find :). (this is file 2 of 2. Each was recorded in a different rec. Level. . . ).

High e played on an acoustic gibson jumbonormalized to -3db with audacity. The guitar was recorded with a single microphone (a brauner phantera) connected to an api pre-amp. The signal was fed into a digidesign a/d converter and recorded in protools 9 in waveform audio file format. All the samples were subsequently edited with the gpl software audacity. After a rain storm, if it's a hot day the mist will rise, particularly in my river valley. There are railroad tracks on the far side of the valley from where i live, about five miles distant. In damp air the sound really carries. This file is unmodified.

This sound file contains basic movement of a bottle of acetaminophen (29 pills contained inside). The movements i made are based on the everyday use of the pills. The reason these pills are specifically called acetaminophen is because all pills make a specific sound including the amount stored inside.

Springtime in a rural indiana neighborhood. A pair of neumann km183 microphones connected by canare l-4e6s and neutrik connectors to a zoom f8 recorder. Gain set to 60db. No processing. Wind noise occasionally, but no overs. This would be a good file to experiment with highpass filtering to remove wind noise.

Currently i'm working on a call center, i was reading my notes and resulted in this audio file, i edited all on audition, it was a random reading, hope it works for someone :).
