This recording is for people who hate the highlighted high frequencies. An old sabian aax small recorded with a røde m5 mic. I the created two copies of the original recording:1. On the first file i applied low pass at 2 khz and hard compression at -24 db without makeup gain. 2. On the second file i applied high pass at 2 khz and hard compression at -24 db without makeup gain. Then i lowered -2 db all the spectrum except for the band from 3. 5 khz to 9. 1 khz and i applied hard compression at -24 db without makeup gain. I merged the two files. The envelope was very flat due to the compression and thus i reshaped it on wavelab (process > level envelope. . . Or press the "v" keyboard button; draw a natural fade out in steps [non-linear]). The result is a warm crash for people who don't want them loud.

The aircraft touches down at 0:47, the english in-flight arrival announcement is broadcast at 3:44, and there is a bounty of ambient noise including seatbelts clicking, bags zipping, and chatter from passengers. This was recorded in-person from my seat with a tascam dr-40. I was located mid-section (just behind the wings) in an aisle seat. Ian dury used something like this in "what a waste". . . It's the gurgling noise made when the last of the water runs down a bathroom sink plughole. Conveys almost as much meaning as a cistern flushing, but in a shorter time (smaller file size). As ever (with my stuff) no "noises off" and so ready for mixing!.

I needed a sound where the actor grabs someone's shoulders but couldn't find the right sounding one, so i created my own! you have my permission to use this wherever you want commercials, videos, movies i don't care how you use this file/sound! :) enjoy!.

Very strong wind in the beach. I couldn't help laughing blown by tremendously strong wind. My at835st was covered with a wind-protection foam but no use. I dont recommend this file to everybody. It may hurt your speaker system if played loudly. Marantz pmd661.

Recorded on 22/02/2010 at approx. 8am at interlaken west train station, switzerland. Can't recall what type of train it was, possibly sbb or ice. Recorded with a zoom h2 in 2-channel surround mode, no windshield. File has not been modified, only cut short from a longer recording.

I recorded several owl-call hoots using a quaker boy owl hooter and gobbler locator. I recorded this file on a tascam dr-100mkii using an mxl r144 ribbon microphone.

An ambient sound, best experienced ina quiet environment, as the sound isbest enjoyed at a moderate volume level. Completely manufactured or created withaudacity with a basic noise file. There are very slight nuances ordiscrepancies with the sound; it it nota perfect monotone track, given theinitial sample is not a tone but a whitenoise sample.

I removed the aerator from the kitchen faucet and didn't get it turned off. My coffee cup filled and this sound resulted. I thought, sounds a little like water falling into a pool in a cave; so here is the file without reverb, also am uploading one with it. Iphone and external mike. Reverb in audacity.
