Scrolling through various shortwave frequencies, caught a tone that slowly turned into a beep with rising tempo. Radio used was a grundig yacht boy 207 with a broken antenna, recorded on a tascam dr-05x.

This is made by feeding homemade images to audiopaint 3. 0 while its oscillators are tuned to randomly-selected scales. Some of them use sine waves, while others use custom waveforms.

It's a small, highly tweakable synthesizer that's great for drones, resonant pings, and all manner of dynamic electronic sounds. ‘slayer’ refers to s-layer, the sample-mangling plugin made by twisted tools. By layering, blending, and mulching the original monos recordings, i was able to get a range of sounds the are dynamic, punchy, and unabashedly stereo. These might be useful for edgy-sounding ui elements.

We wanted to add some tape delay to a piano track we were recording. This is an artifact that came from routing the third delay track back to the source track. Essentially, a quick two second feedback loop. Recorded with a peluso p12 and an akg 414.
