Sometimes, my imagination goes here, and further. I never offer explanations for the bits and bites i ask from him, and clearly, he doesn't check it out later. So i put this together out of thin air. Probably. My mom used to caution that i shouldn't watch those horror flicks, they would warp my mind. Well any fascination with the macabre came directly from her. Right, dad?. Anyway, she should never have said that. I took it personally. She won't do it again. There's just a chance that this guy took it personally too.

A sample of church bells from a pamplona side street. Recorded in 1985 on a sony walkman using the in-built mics. Recorded onto tdk d90 cassette and stored since then in damp cellars, sheds, and long forgotten drawers. Just today transferred to digital using my fathers old decca legato tape player which we purchased in the early 70s to enable us to send messages to my uncle who had emigrated to australia. Dad says the player cost over £30 then which was more than a weeks wages at the time. I was inter-railing around europe at the time but the recording seems to stop in pamplona. Six weeks later all my money and passport was stolen while in crete and i made my way home via the british consulate in athens.

Sample of a busker playing the accordion in a pamplona side-street in 1985. Recorded with a sony walkman using the in-built mics. Some background talking. The office chair is a usual one with wheels and black, but been fixed and soldered and painted a lot for over 2 years (don't khow how long this chair was being used by the previous owner. To get the sound i just sit on it, put my phone on a tripod using the apk easy voice recorder pro by digipom, and then started moving with my feet trying for 30 minutes to get interesting sounds out of it, sometimes falling to get one continuous sound, but i never did that so my experience and technique is lacking also i dind't edit in audacity i just recorded send to email and uploaded here. The thing is that i got as a gift from a family friend and me and my dad soldered that thing probably 6 times to fix the sounds, pieces falling off, me geting in the ground after the entire base broked!( i wished i could show the picture in the center down of it) so before i went ahead to fix it again, i decided after talking to friends if i should record and upload, so here it is!. I hope is useful somehow to someone, now i can feel more at ease in repairing this chair again.
