Recording of a plastic glass moved by the wind in the pompeu fabra university (poblenou campus). It was recorded with a zoom h4 and it is a soft sound.

A cup of water being gargled, slurped, gulped (while the microphone was placed on my neck), and swallowed. Some rather unpleasant gagging and heavy breathing noises are also present on the recording due to my accidentally breathing some water while recording!.

The coffee machine at the office where i work makes a lot of noise during the 30 seconds it takes for it to brew one cup of regular coffee. The recording was made with my h2 an early morning in january 2009.

Water comes to a boil in a kettle, is poured into a mug, is stirred with a metal spoon, then is dumped in the sink. The neighbors were hammering something, so once or twice i re-started an action. . . .

These sounds came from a session where i needed to record very gentle clinking sounds with a tea set. The setup is an mxl3000 mic through a neve portico preamp. They are very soft by design.

Excellent sound of a large explosion, similar to a grenade. This was made in pro tools. Originally it was the sound of a mallet smashing a plastic cup recorded with an akg 414 ld condenser. I used an air frequency shifter, air reverb, and air dynamic delay to do the rest.
