This is my design of a crowd applause and cheering with yelling and whooping. Edited and designed using elements of my crowd recordings from atlee high school's school play in december of 2021.

A modest sized crowd of people in a fairly good mood speaking in american english in a an old building. The room is chamberous enough to create some short reverb, although the walls and floors are wood and there is some carpeting to reduce the effect.

A small group (about 20) people talking in small groups. English voices. A mixture of male and female.

Medium sized, mixed male and female, crowd yelling and screaming in panic. Recorded (and featured) by students of video games and animation from the national school of arts of uruguay, during the sound design workshop.

So this is my attempt in making a crowd sound effect. It really didn't sound like a people's crowd since i said "walla" too loud in some clips. There are approximately 28 clips in that sound varying from 15 to 17 seconds. Also, i combined another crowd sound effect which i created in 3ml editor and edited in both audacity and adobe audition to make it longer. All (with the exception of the earlier crowd sound effect i did) was combined in audacity.

Sorry for the blank spots,it was recorded from a crashing building and the recorder skipped a little.

Recorded between show using at4022 with zoom f8n pro, a hall built in 1954 that was once said to have the best acoustics in the east.

Iphone recording of a group of people sitting in a theatre in downtown boston, ma, prior to a film screening. The room was perfectly tempered and acoustically treated, and people were talking at a relatively normal level without echo or reverberation. It was too good to pass up recording it. At first, there are people talking near by, but towards the end, i am further back and the group chatter effect can be noticed in whole.

An excited crowd, saying hooray, being all around happy and excited for an event. It's ideal for those who want a generic all purpose crowd cheering sound.
