Recording of a building construction site with high winds; contains equipment drones, backup beeps, some backhoe noises, and occasional high wind with whistling. Recorded on an amazon basics usb condenser mic in stereo mode, and normalized to max volume before upload. This was originally me trying to record the wind sound, but there's really too much construction noise, so let's not waste it! :).
I have no idea what this was. I don't know if it's my voice or an external sound i didn't hear while recording. It was found randomly on my most recent recording of playing containment breach, and it was very quiet, so i increased the volume to try and figure out what it was, but it's still a mystery to me. Some loops i made in reaktor. They're made using a little wavetable-based synth which i built from scratch; the wavetable contains 32 home-grown waveforms, and the synth's parameters and effects are controlled by a bank of 16 sequencers. Good for glitch/minimal techno, and there are some nice individual bleeps/percussive sounds in there too. Enjoy!.

This is a recording of me, walking on the sidewalk of a road during heavy rain and wind. The cars passing me is driving through the water. I am using a røde blimp with deadcat in my hand, containing a sennheiser mkh 416 and a ambient ate 308 emesser in a ms-stereo setup. The recorder that i use is a zoom f6, but the ms-stereo decoding is done in pro tools in post. 32bit float 48khz.

First short set with my fingertip, second set with the side of my varnished tin starbucks coffee mug and the third set with the side of a standard 3/8" plastic sharpie marker. According to my synth, this is extremely close to, if not spot-on with a d-natural (294 hz).

This is an editied version of acclivity's sound file, "30832_acclivity_summereveninginmygarden". His original file contains a barking dog, which depending on your usage, can deter from the intent of your project. Since acclivity's recording has excellent signal to noise ratio, and has captured some beautiful birdsong, i thought other people might be able to use this edited file with all the dog barking taken out.
