An interesting recording of birds, led by blue jays, doing their alarm calls. I was in the middle of the woods when i noticed that the birds seemed to be alarmed like there was a predator nearby and sure enough, i finally spotted a big barred owl sitting high in a tree about 50 yards from my recorder. Pretty amazing how the bird community sounds the alarm.

I get this call from my daughter's elementary school, first week of school and already a cyber attack, messing up the entire school's computer systems. It is indeed a sad world where not even grade school kids are safe from these cyber pirates. So i tweaked the recording a bit, added panned out echo and noise reductio. Enjoy!.

Walking down a nature trail during a late summer evening. A lot of leaves crunching under foot with a bird calling continuously in the background. Insects, primarily crickets can be heard throughout the entire clip. Recorded with a sony ic recorder in southeast usa.

I call this my flash boom. It's a sub plus a pitch shifted snare that i created on my track "a flash of light by the shore" use it to create dynamics on a hit or whatever you want. Give a shout out to stark for machines and have fun! :). - chris.

A nice spring soundscape of birds in deep woods. I set my recorder on a sand-bar in the middle of a nice-sized creek, turned on the internal mics on my zoom h4n and just let nature do the talking. Recorded around 11 in the morning on a cloudy 71 degree day.

The main sound is the sound of someone playing a thumb-piano. There's also a gong, and two clock chimes. All of these i added reverb to and sloooowed dooooown about -81 percent. I think it sounds like the interior of a giant clock, but call it what you will. This sound is free, anyway. Made with audacity.

Think maybe a sabbath type of riff, low gain distortion but enough of an edge to call it thick/heavy. Probably better split into a smaller segment. Number 95 – flange harmonics g to d – harmonic noise which you could probably use smaller pieces of to signal an alarm/warning type of sound.

Very loud recording of an arcade i went to recently. Unfortunately wasn't alone so i had to cut it down quite a bit. It's in crusty mono quality because of my phone (moto g power) and its recorder app (ez voice recorder) but i suppose i can call it lo-fi if i wanted to. So i will!.

A random sound i created for one of my animation. I really don't know what kind of sound do you call it but it is usually used when having a "dramatic" label. Well, whatever that is. Nevermind. I let excel randomize function give me 16 numbers between 1 and 8. Then i merge my parts in that order. Result an 8 bar loop. Done in audacity. Did not have to use number 1.

This sound is of a commercial airliner passing overhead. It was recorded using my zoom h4n stereo field recorder, as i faced east, looking over sun devil stadium in tempe, arizona on top of what they call "a mountain". I have made a patch that generates drones. Lets call this generative. . . I use feedback on my spring reverb. I only use one filter. The drone is structured by a triangle lfo and 2 comparators. It's tricky to balance the patch to give varying and interesting results. The drone is made with a 100% analog modular synth.
