Walking slowly in a grassy forest. Dead grass being crunched underfoot, and living green grass brushing against clothes. A few birds in the background, and wind gently blowing through the grass. A great piece of audio to add to a movie or a video.

I have never sabotaged someone's car tyres. I was curious and wondered how it may be feeling to puncture a tyre, so i ran a bowie knife in a old wheel i had. It wasn't so easy as i thought, had to use rather strong hand.

Some sounds of blowing across the top of a glass bottle. Specifically a 33cl cider bottle. :-). Captured using a rode nt5 small-diaphragm condenser microphone and a zoom h5 recorder. Basic editing in ocenaudio, also applied some slight de-reverberation. I intend to record a proper version later on, including different articulations at various pitches. But that may take a while. In the meanwhile these samples might be useful for some sound design. One more thing. It's always nice to hear back from you. What projects did you use these sounds for?please let me know. ;-).

A long echoing foghorn sound, made by blowing into a 10-foot-long pvc pipe in a fairly big, empty room. This is the best of the foghorn sounds i recorded. I think it sounds surprising like a real foghorn in the distance. Nice long reverb/decay after the main sound is over.

Two pairs of footsteps walking past on shingle beach at cley-next-the-sea, norfolk, while small waves break in the background and a strong offshore wind blows in jan 2016. Recorded with nt55 omni spaced pair in blimp, with sound devices mixpre-d and tascam dr70d.

A fairly decent recording -- in my opinion --- of wind blowing through oak tree branches and rattling dead leaves. Recording made on saturday april 6th, 2013 using my zoom h4n recorder. My microphone, rode nt2, was mounted inside my homemade parabolic reflector. Enjoy.

Field recording made near open air swimming pool in poznań, poland, before noon. Mainly children's voices can be heard, but also people passing-by and some cars and other city sounds. Unfortunately, wind blows were sommetimes strong.

At 4 pm (hawaii time), it's the sounds of birdsongs and blowing light breezes in the trees lining the rather dry river near my home in honolulu. You can also hear the humming of my refrigerator in the background.

Interference is a interesting phenomenon. I blow a bass tone and add my own voice, first i adjust my voice to same wavelength as the instrument, then i change my voice linearily, and you can follow how you get a 3rd tone, which is either a+b or a-b.

Captured during a windstorm. Water sprays hard against the window pane. Air rushes past a crack in the window making a loud, breathy, howling whistle; while outside, the swaying trees are swelling waves of white noise. (there is no thunder).

10 minutes of wind used for a thunderstorm i'm creating on pro tools. The beginning is dead silence and goes until about 9:45. A compilation of winds found here on freesound and set on loop.

This is my wind entry for the competition. It's derived from some recorded voice and putting a microphone in various containers while the wind was blowing. I was able to get some interesting sounds from this, then i used some mutation effects, convolution, and phase vocoding to combine the voice and the wind sounds into this short piece.

For the 2021 production of christmas carol i wanted to add some special effects. To create a ghostly voices saying ebenezer scrooge i recorded 10 different cast members, then i used audacity to add a little reverb and filter the voice using the frequency transform of a recording of wind. Then i played the voices while the wind was blowing.

Sounds of the smoky mountain railway in bryson city, north carolina. Includes many sounds of starting with some diesel locomotives, depot ambient noise with passengers, and goes into the steam locomotive preparing to leave the station then goes into sounds of the locomotive as recorded from between the cars with a very nice steam locomotive whistle blowing frequently.

I was trying to record some "wind" noises with my mouth by blowing at the mics, when i came to close and my beard started to crackle against them. I liked the soudn and i actually used it later on some stuff - it's not a great quality recordning but it might interest someone. Sorry for the "windy" sounds at the start. . . A recording of my bathroom ventilation fan shutters clicking in the breeze. The fan is not on so you can hear birds in the distance, and the wind in the tube-shaped fan chamber. When the wind blows it catches the plastic shutters and they rattle and click. Recorded very close to the fan with two dynamic microphones, there is virtually no bathroom ambience detectable. I'd be intrerested to know what this could be used for!.

Thunder storm: this is a very accurate and realistic thunder storm. The great clashes of thunder can be heard accompanied buy the rumbling of the storm. Wind blowing and swooshing paints a beautiful picture. The sharp lightning strikes are very prominent. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg. This is a great ambience to create the basis of an amazing soundscape.

Recorded in my backyard with rode ntg-3 / dead wombat on zoom h6 recorder. Starts off with one decent short clap of thunder, but mostly rolling low rumble thunder and some rain here and there. Some of the rain drop sounds are sharp off of metal, some is just lightly hitting the ground. Some nearby trees blowing add to some of the ambiance.

This is the ambience of both banks of a river that normally runs loudly outside the kitchen window of my home here in honolulu, hawaii. You can hear traffic passing by, birds singing in the trees (especially a dove), kids laughing in the distance, and a light breeze blowing.

Hey,. I tried to create an acceptable recording of a thunderstorm. Unfortunately i live near a freeway, so it was impossible to filter out the car noises. . .
