Landing boeing 772 airplane flying by at 300 m altitude, observed about 300 m to the side of the flight path (upward looking angle about 45 deg at closest point). Recorded with zoom h2n voicerecorder, normal stereo mode, no compression. Some birds in the environment (natural birds). If you want it to fly the other direction just reverse the stereo.

I've been meaning to try and capture that magical, melancholy feeling of the late summer and early fall of the midwest woods. This was recorded in the shawnee forest in southern illinois on saturday september 28th, 2019. Equipment used: zoom f4microphones: lom usi pro omnissennheiser mkh 416sennheiser me66. This is an edited field recording that i used in a track of mine. I recorded it at the zoom natural park, near torino, italy. It's actually 4 tracks of waterfalls and birds signing, with a little delay on the birds. It's made to loop around itself unnoticeably. If someone is interested, i'm willing to release the whole field recording. It's 7 tracks, but very little of it is devoid of external noise. An ambient recording in may 2022 of a farm in rhinebeck, upstate new york. I wish i could name the animals that can be heard on here, there are all manner of frogs and birds in the area (blue jays, mockingbirds etc) alas i am not a native. There is a continuous whine throughout the recording which is a distant water pump - i suspect that, if desirable the frequency could be excluded with a bit of parametric eq.
