Messing around with synths again and made a searching sound for a turret in the game i'm working on.

A weird beep created using a ehx memory boy modulating the pitch with a square wave at a fast ratio. Recorded with an sm57 in front of a fender blues junior.

A short flip across the fm radio dial with cell phone interference. The file is slowed to roughly half speed. Can be looped to form a beat.

Artificial beep used for research purposes in the behavioral experiment (link to the paper: http://www. Ncbi. Nlm. Nih. Gov/pmc/articles/pmc3384222/). The sound was generated in matlab using binary click trains at the fundamental frequency of 330 hz and 100 ms duration, which were bandpass filtered with a bandwidth equal to 1/50th of the formant frequency using malcolm slaney's auditory toolbox. Formant center frequency was 6. 912 khz. The formant frequency was chosen to lie within rat and human sensitivity range.

This is the sound of the turtlebot robot from the research group ubica lab from universitat pompeu fabra turning on the antena and connecting it to the server. This robot is able to take inventory of a shop without the need of any prior knowledge and with the minimal set of resources.

I just got audacity and was messing around with it, thought this sound might be quite useful to anyone i don't know.
