When i first tested out my zoom h5 i began talking into the mic and then all of a sudden i needed a sneeze. I was about to stop the recording but then thought it would be good to record the sneeze to see how it handled my loudness. Well it coped very well and the recording came out perfect!i then played around with it in audacity and slowed it down -86% which makes me sound like a roaring lion. So i thought i'd upload this slowed down version too!.

Sounds of a 15-year-old dog with laryngal paralysis chewing on a rawhide bone in her crate. (very sad to me as lela is a beloved family member and near the end of her life, but maybe someone can put all this suffering and racket to good use. ) at about the 01:17 mm:ss mark, things get louder because i leaned the recorder up against her crate, near her face. Prior to that the mic was about 5' away, on my kitchen table. I apologize for any unexpected clangs. I didn't edit this file, just uploaded it. Good luck. I'd say "enjoy" but these sounds are pretty gross. :).

The footstep of a very large beast, with a little echo. You probably won't hear much on laptop speakers as it is very low. Actually the sound of me popping my cheek with my finger, slowed down a lot.

This is a heavily distorted version of a previous sound created by scraping a tape dispenser on my desk and giving it reverb. I think it sounds like a monster in relation to horror breathing. I would imagine it being a large beast of some sorts.

The last breath of a creature, maybe a dragon, whatever floats your boat. I'm a game developer, but i also like creating sfx, and other cool stuff. So i was feeling like creating a small mmo for fun, but thought to myself;how on earth am i going to make all those sounds?so i searched a bit on the net for possible cool sfx techniques, and later on decided to just experiment with audacity myself. For this sound i recorded my own voice two times (i can make some weird sounds),and edited them in audacity. The result came out as some kind of dragon, and i was pretty pleased with it being my first organic voice. Use for whatever you like, a credit and a rate would be appreciated.

Dark and powerful sound of a vintage, beast of a power amplifier, switching on. This is an older recording i had lying around, fades out at the end. Could for example be used as a sound effect for a title screen, or turning on a big piece of equipment.

Inspired by a drawing posted on airradsirens. Com some time ago, a huge siren that is a hybrid of a thunderbolt and a hurricane siren, supercharged by a large industrial air compressor. You do not want to be anywhere close to this beast when it goes off!.

Here it is! my first ever submission on freesound! i decided to start this all out with a bang, and post something really cool that i'm proud of making. I'm not sure exactly what this creature was supposed to be. I'll leave that up to your imaginations. How it was made:. Software: fl studio 20. Plugin(s): serum, valhallaroom, ott, fruity parametric eq 2, and fruity delay 2. This was made completely with synthesizers. I used serum for the main synth, made copies of it, and modified each of them to sound unique from the other. I'd try to explain how the synth was made, but there's a lot of stuff. To process it, i used ott to make it sound more powerful and clear, eq to get the frequencies and texture right, delay with a low pass filter to get that outdoors echo feel, and valhalla room for the reverb. I had fun making these. Enjoy!.

This piece is a sound-sculpture of a weather effect commonly called the beast from the east in the uk. It is based on a longer piece by me called frozen kaos. This was constructed by me using only copywrite free sources of sounds, musical(ish) pieces and natural sounds. All of these were assembled and processed using the free software package audacity™. Most samples have been filtered, pitched, and manipulated vastly to make the basic foundation. On that base all the rest of the sounds were layer (over 200 different layers -- manipulated, mixed down, rebuilt, remixed, manipulated). I mostly work be happenstance and never take notes -- often what comes about is as much by chance as by design.

Recorded on a small olympus device, set next to an open sleeve of stale saltines. You can hear her in the plastic packaging grabbing mouthfuls and chewing the crackers all up. She dips into the sleeve of crackers 3 or 4 times in this recording and smacks her chops after eating it all. Sorry about her collar chiming as dog's tags tend to, i just had to record that big mouthed crunch. I've removed the loud plastic rustling sounds, to focus more on the crunching sounds as she munches on snack crackers. Great for dog food or puppy chow commercials or for a film of a beast eating at charred crispy remains. So after all the dsp processing of the little voice recordingi tried out my little bbc symphonic orchestra new free libraryput some violins on it & some horns of abraxas, if youdon(t know horns of abraxas of johann johannssonn, i urge you to go& check it out, the whole movie is a candy for the ear & eye. . . S with titlesas seekers of the serpent's eye or burning church or dive-bomb blues ordeath and ashes or children of the new dawn or forging the beast. . . My first upload! this sound i made using the zmors synth on my ipad air2 - i used audiobus which is a great routing software allowing many of a lot of awesome sounding synths that are now on ipad and can be played professionally via a usb keyboard controller (very handy for gigging) okay this is getting too wordy. . . I used audiobus overall with zmors in the first slot being routed through the wonderful aufx eq app in the center (effects) slot then ran the most useful of all ---> audioshare app in the 3rd or output slot to record it all. . . Keep in mind that the number of devices you can run in these three slots is virtually limitless - as much as your device can handle so you can get really nuts with several synths, a drum machine, etc all routing to the middle (fx) stop in the chain and picking up a fat 3 or 4 nice sounding effects devices then on to output to audioshare or you can now use just audioshare as host and run zmors in it directly (and probably more smoothly). I chose zmors because on a couple of other ipads (ipad mini, ipad 2 especially, and ipad air a little bit) i was noticing that it was a resource hog and was not playing correctly or there was a huge lag in the latency so with the new(er) ipad air 2 i wanted to hear the zmors synth and it really is an underappreciated majestic sounding beast if you ask me. I am going to experiment further with it as the unique architecture and just the way it sounds is totally different from any other synth i've yet to hear on ipad or in general. It kind of reminds me of a fatter, more modern. Sequential circuits 6 track. Which i've had a couple of and have a thick layered sound - kind of like a really nice turkey sandwich with a good portion of swiss cheese then you notice that there's still some roast beef left and put a good amount of that between bread as well. Hell, that's a sandwich that's gonna be filling! thanks for reading.
