This wood thrush was recorded around 7:30 in the morning in heavy woods in deep southern illinois. Unlike my earlier posting of the wood thrush singing at dusk, this morning recording has the wood thrush singing with lots of company, although he clearly rises above his neighbors. 17 seconds into the recording you hear the drumming of a woodpecker, and at one-minute 20 seconds into the recording you hear the distinctive-lonely sounding call of the huge pileated woodpecker. A test recording of a top-loading washing machine accelerating to 1000rpm on its final spin cycle. Note that it's not as high-quality as i would've liked, but i'll try again soon. Recorded with an oppo reno 8 lite 5g phone and edited with audacity. You may also hear birds chirping, which i had trouble editing out with this recording. The machine in question is a fisher & paykel quicksmart 5. 5kg (mw513) running on 240v 50hz power. This machine utilises a "direct drive" bldc motor instead of the traditional induction motor and pulley.

A sample that was created from utilizing chromatic tones, stretching, reverb and the use of the wet/dry filtering to get the mix "just right". If you aren't aware of what the mega-marvin is. Mega-marvins are essentially instruments containing extremely heavy string, woodwind and varying density of materials that generate strong noises, trailing ambiances and brass-like sound qualities quite suited to the horror genre, generating a daunting and sorrowful sounds.
