Five Types of Study
The researchers long sought to learn which students learn; a familiar idea, even now day, is the SENA theory. That theory lists three learner kinds: visual, aural, tactile, and read/write. Most people mix several modes, but often than not, they favor one mode.
Read/Write
Read/Write students favor information best in text, such as that's via notes or reading.
Sight
Sight learners often prefer to take info visually—like using maps, charts, diagrams, etc.
Tactile
Tactile learners often learn by doing prefer learning by action. They like hands- on practice
Aural
Aural learners absorb info by listening better when they hear spoken words aural mode; via hearing.
